August ended on a particularly bright note for Acura, with the company breaking several Acura monthly sales records and seeing a 9.0 percent sales gain overall. It seems that drivers love the all-new MDX as the redesigned crossover set an all-time record with its best month of sales ever—up 17.1 percent.
The Acura RDX continued its string of success with its 16th straight monthly sales record, up 49.7 percent. Acura also had a 27.3 percent gain in light-truck sales, setting an all-time record for the second straight month.
